■Design Concept
Chopsticks have evolved in a unique way, blending with Japanese culture. Today, chopsticks are no longer just tools; they are a medium that expresses the owner's sense of style, a valuable supporting actor that fosters a sense of place, and a companion that brings out beautiful behavior. When designing these chopsticks, adjustments were made in 0.01mm increments, and a slightly bulging silhouette was created to express a rich presence.
The hexagonal cross-section, which fits comfortably in the hand and creates delicate shadows, is slightly rounded, and becomes more circular as you move towards the tip of the chopsticks, making it gentle on the mouth.
■A new luxury of "sustainable beauty" that starts with each pair of chopsticksThese chopsticks are made from "TRANSWOOD®," an environmentally friendly material developed with the concept of "a material that will last for 100 years."By combining cellulose microfiber derived from wood flour with "Prasus®," a biomass resin made from recycled waste cooking oil, we have achieved the warmth and delicate texture of wood. The wood grain-like texture that appears on the surface of each pair gives the impression of individuality, with each pair being unique.
Once used, it is reborn as a new product. By incorporating this "circulating beauty" into your daily life, your life itself will become a sophisticated and sustainable expression.
■A shape that fits naturally in the hand
Despite its angular shape, the texture fits gently in the hand. The design exudes a subtle warmth within its sharp lines.
The hexagonal shape, the same as the pencils we are familiar with from our childhood, gives a comfortable sense of security from the moment you first pick it up, and your fingertips naturally fit into the correct position.
■Usage
The hexagonal shape fits securely around your fingertips, preventing them from slipping and supporting delicate movements.
The tips of the chopsticks have a subtle embossing (fine unevenness) that ensures that not a single grain of rice is missed and that noodles are not slipped away, allowing you to elegantly bring them to your mouth. They fit naturally as if they were a part of your hand, and have a mysterious comfort that makes you want to taste the food carefully every time you use them.
They have a stronger presence than wooden chopsticks and are lighter than regular plastic ones. The balance that feels just right every time you pick them up will help you develop a comfortable attachment to them as you use them at the dinner table every day.
■The auspicious "hexagon" is a perfect gift for someone special
The hexagon, which has long been known as "kikko" in Japan, is an auspicious shape that represents longevity and prosperity.
We put our feelings into chopsticks that we use every day, and as a gift to a special person, we deliver our wishes for happiness.
